Herschelle Catibog

Office Manager
info@movestrong.ca

Given an opportunity to join MoveStrong in March 2010 at a point of great growth and development, Herschelle saw MoveStrong philosophy impact a growing community.

The chiropractic clinic became a bright, friendly, open-concept, holistic community health care centre, offering not only chiropractic care and rehabilitation, but also acupuncture, massage therapy, private yoga therapy and nutrition counseling.

Herschelle says: “I saw it grow; the number of clients are climbing. It’s an honour that Dr. Adam gave me the opportunity to be part of growing Movestrong. I’ve met some great people working here, and I’ve learned so much.”

She likes working for Dr. Adam, because his passion for promoting wellness and being well have influenced her. “I didn’t used to care about the foods I ate,” she says, “but now, I’m more careful. If I’m going to be working for a wellness clinic, I figured – why not be well?”

Herschele decided to be in good shape to be the best possible Mommy for her energetic 2-year old. She is looking forward to teaching her family the knowledge and skills that she has learned working at MoveStrong.

Jessica Lemon

B.A. (Hon)
Private Yoga Instructor

Though her last name is Lemon, Jess is actually pretty sweet – and seasoned, with her first experience of hot yoga at age 18.

Since that day, Jess has used yoga to grapple with life’s most pressing questions. Who am I? What am I here to do?

In 2004, upon completion of inaugural Moksha teacher training, Jess sought answers abroad. Combining her passions, she travelled to France, Trinidad, and Las Vegas to teach yoga and to study. Living in Toronto, Jess still frequently refreshes body, mind and spirit by travelling the world to adventure and teach.

Ms. Lemon completed Levels 1 & 2 of Moksha training, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature through the University of Toronto. Her thirst for physical, intellectual, and spiritual engagement led her to study various yoga disciplines, styles and methods under great teachers like Baron Baptiste, David Robson, Judith Lasater, Frank Jude Boccio, and Paula Lynch.

An attentive, hands-on teacher who enjoys catering to individual needs, she works one-on-one to improve the application and understanding of yoga asana, whether your goal is to heal from illness or injury, or to generally improve health and well-being.

After seven years of sharing and exploration, Jess feels that true learning happens when a person is seen and met where they are, and then nurtured and encouraged along their personal journey of self-discovery.

While deeply investigating the mind, breath and body, and maintaining careful attention to each, Jess allows creativity and fun to inspire her teaching. She is a spontaneous, fluid instructor who believes that when we are open and attuned to each moment, life is always offering wisdom.

Jess has also trained in Mindfulness with Frank Jude Boccio and recently completed a 10-day silent meditation retreat at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, deepening her commitment to stillness and contemplation.

Jess Lemon is available for corporate, private or semi-private (up to 4 people in a group) bookings.
