Naturopathic medicine is the art and science of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease using natural, non-pharmaceutical methods. Emphasis is placed on optimizing health and wellness through individualized patient care and health education.
Naturopathic Modalities
Clinical Nutrition
Focuses on the use of dietary counseling and nutritional supplementation for the treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, as well as, for health promotion and optimization. This therapy is used as the basis for all naturopathic treatments, however it is particularly beneficial in weight loss, Candida, high cholesterol, arthritis, anti-aging in addition to all gastro-intestinal complains (GERD, IBS, Crohn’s, and colitis).
Injection Therapy
Focuses on injecting a variety of natural products or supplements into problematic muscle, ligament, tendons or joints throughout the body. This therapy is particularly useful in treating chronic pain, tendon or ligament laxity and joint degeneration.
Parenteral (IV) Therapy
Focuses on correcting nutrient or vitamin deficiencies, by administrating nutrients intravenously. It is beneficial in “high doses” in the treatment of chronic degenerative diseases, particularly cancer. In addition, IV treatments assist in the detoxification process by helping to clear environmental toxins such as heavy metals through chelation. Chelation is important process w/ the removal of amalgams and in conditions of arteriosclerosis.
Hydrotherapy
Focuses on the use of hot and cold water applications, bathes or showers to enhance immune function, circulation and overall vitality.
Lifestyle Counseling
Focuses on patient guidance and education to aide in issues such as stress management, depression, anxiety and sexual dysfunction, as well as overall wellness.

Homeopathy
Focuses on the use of small doses of medical substances to stimulate the body’s vital force and aide in the treatment and prevention of a wide range of conditions. This modality is particularly effective in the treatment of children.
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
Focuses on the use of acupuncture, dietary counseling and Chinese herbal formulations for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of medical conditions.
Botanical Medicine
Focuses on the use of whole plants, either individually or in combination, for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of medical conditions. This is very beneficial in the treatment of thyroid conditions (hypothyroidism, WTS, sub-clinical hypothyroidism), women’s health issues (PMS, irregular menstruation, decreased libido, bio-identical HRT and menopause) as well as men’s health issues (benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), erectile dysfunction and decreased libido).
